Tell us a few things about yourself, what do you study, ehat kind od job do you have here, at Meló-Depó?
I’m currently studying Agricultural Engineering, which I’m really passionate about. At Meló-Depó, I’ve been working in a student role where I support various tasks depending on which the boss assign me to each day, it’s given me a chance to learn a lot about responsibility and teamwork.
In what field would you like to work in after being a student? How did you work experiences helped you in your life?
In the future, I’d love to work in sustainable agriculture or precision farming, anything that helps make food production more efficient and environmentally friendly. My work experience has helped me become more organized, reliable, and confident when working in a team.
How can you synchronize working with school?
It’s not always easy, but with good time management and prioritizing tasks, I’ve found a balance. Having a flexible student job like the one at Meló-Depó really helps make it possible.
Do you have any funny or entertaining story from your workplace that you would like to tell us?
One time we were moving boxes and
accidentally created a “maze” in the storage area without realizing it. we
ended up getting a bit lost trying to get back out. It was a good laugh and a
fun reminder of how teamwork makes even simple tasks enjoyable.
What do you think about us, the Meló-Depó?
Meló-Depó has been a great place
to work. The team is supportive, the communication is clear, and I’ve always
felt like my work is appreciated. It’s a great environment for students.
What advice would you give to the future generation?
Don’t be afraid to take on responsibilities and try new things. Every experience teaches you something useful, and sometimes you learn the most outside the classroom.
